DONATIONS

AMVETS picks up discarded clothing and household goods all throughout the Columbus area. If you would like to donate some clothing or household goods please contact 706-561-5882 and schedule a pick-up. A postcard will be sent to you and remind you of the date of pick-up ten days prior, if time permits, also the donator will receive a call to remind them the night before. When the scheduled donation day arrives please put donated items on the porch and clearly label AMVETS, prior to 7:30 AM. An AMVETS truck will be by to pick up your items sometime that day. Please refer to the below list to see what items are accepted and what items are not accepted, if you have any further questions please contact 706-561-5882. We greatly appreciate your generous donations and continued support of AMVETS.
