The July 28, 2010 Post Meeting will be held at the post's new home.

Supper will be served at a cost of $5 per person, A supper menu will be posted on the
Post Website. So as not to waste food, we must insist that you make a prepaid reservation
for this meeting. Your meal includes tea, coffee, salad, rolls and desert.  All items are made
from scratch. The food is just great.

Holiday Retirement/River Place 6850 River Road, Columbus, Georgia 31904
has opened it retirement home to all members in good standing of Charles M. Greavu
Post 9. As a member of Post 9, members will be allowed attend any post function. The
Post Commander and Post Executive Committee will work closely with the River Place
Management Team to provide the best possible entertainment and food service to post members
and their guests. Post Service Officers will available to assist members and non member veterans with issues associated with there military service. Law enforcement officers who have served in any branch of the United States Armed Forces can in addition to VA claims, Social Security claims can receive consultation with any issue involving their law enforcement occupation by our trained and experienced law enforcement members.

Holiday Retirement/River Place and Charles M. Greavu Post 9 will host August Moonlight Gala to honor our veteran heroes. This event is scheduled for Saturday August 21, 2010 from 5: p.m. - 9: p.m. Details are still in the planning stage. Food, entertainment and other programs are being planned.
