Post 9 has been authorized to join all new applicants
for membership into the post with a six months of free
dues for the remainder of the 2010 year. Any new annual
member will enjoy all the benefits of an AMVETS member.
He or she will not be billed until the new membership
billing cycle begins in 2011. This a great deal. AMVETS
has many great benefits for our members. Visit:

increase from the current $180 to $200 on January 1,
2011.

of Charles M. Greavu Post 9 are:

Rules, Members and their guests can use the dining
facilities at any AMVETS Post event. When traveling,
members may stay at any Holiday Retirement Property in
the United Sates. A donation of $35 may be made to the
Post Service Fund. Requests for lodging can be made
through post 9. Space at all properties is limited, so
you must make your reservation as far in advance as possible.Cnacellations must be made NLT 72 hours
in advance of arrival at Holiday Properties. This
benefit will become operational as soon as the details
can be worked out. Properties located near a VA hospital
will have priority over members who are just traveling.
The Post Executive Committee and the River Place
Management Team work together to bring both programs and
services beneficial to our Columbus and Chattahoochee
Valley veterans community.
AMVETS Annual Post Membership is $35. AMVETS Life
Membership dues is $108. Post 9 offers installments of
$35 X 4 monthly payments. There is a $5 processing, if a
credit/debit card is used to pay your membership dues.
Upon payment in full, a Life membership will be awarded.
